Noha A. Yousri has joined the Bioinformatics Core in Weill Cornell Medicine- Qatar (WCM-Q) in 2012. She has joined the department of Genetic Medicine in 2017, where she is currently an Assistant Professor of Research. She has lead the computational analysis for several association studies involving genomics, metabolomics, proteomics and epigenetics data. She is a lead PI of QNRF funded projects (PPM2 and NPRP-11) to study epigenetics and integrated large scale omics data for T2D and obesity using Qatar Genome Project data. She is also a Co-PI on other QNRF funded projects. Dr Yousri comes from a Computer Engineering background, with a specialization in machine learning techniques. She is also affiliated with Alexandria University as an Associate Professor of Computer and Systems Engineering. She has authored and co-authored more than 40 peer reviewed publications in the fields of computer engineering, bioinformatics and biological/medical sciences.
