Senior Attending Physician and Director of Research

Jame Huntley is Senior Attending Physician (Paediatric Orthopaedics) and Director of Research (Department of Surgery) at Sidra Research and Medical Center appointed in June 2015. He came from The Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Yorkhill, Glasgow, Scotland) where he worked for 6 years as a Consultant in Paediatric Orthopaedics, and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Glasgow. Prior to that, his surgical training was in Edinburgh following studentships at Oxford and Cambridge. He has a full Blue and two higher research degrees from Oxford University, did his Paediatric Orthopaedic and Trauma Fellowship at the Starship Hospital New Zealand, and subsequently two travelling fellowships: the BORS-ORS 2009, and the ABC 2012.
