Hannelore Daniel

Hannelore Daniel holds the position of a full Professor of Physiology of Human Nutrition at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Her main research interests are metabolic control mechanisms in mammals in response to alterations in nutrient supply assessed at the transcriptome, proteome and metabolome levels including concepts of “personalized nutrition”. She is a member of the German National Academy of Sciences (Leopoldina), a member of the German National Bioeconomy Council and a reviewer and advisor for national and international funding agencies and the EU commission. Hannelore Daniel has published around 400 scientific papers, reviews and text book contributions and has provided hundreds of oral presentations as invited speaker.
