I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2017 with a bachelor degree of science in Biological Sciences. During my last year in university, I did a one year internship in Qatar Biomedical Research Institute and worked there with the Diabetic team on a project titled “BCL2L11 as gene target for miRNA-92a: Interaction evaluation and implication in type 2 diabetes and obesity”. I joined Sidra September 2017 and I have joined the human genetics department and I am currently working on several projects including the Rare Mendelian Disease project.
