About the Symposium:
Update in Pediatric Pain: From Frowns to Smiles is designed for clinicians who care for children with painful conditions. It is a forum to share the latest best practices in pediatric pain management.
Physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health practitioners who care for children with painful conditions.
Overall Symposium Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this symposium, participants will be able to:
- Identify painful conditions in the pediatric patient.
- Recognize developmentally appropriate tools to assess pediatric pain.
- Describe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic techniques utilized to treat pediatric pain.
- Discuss and constructs pediatric pain treatment plan.
