Sidra’s 3rd Annual Functional Genomics, co-organized with Nature Genetics, will provide an opportunity to discuss cutting edge advances in the field of Precision Medicine.
By bringing world-class speakers to Qatar, and combining speeches from Sidra’s most promising scientists, we aim to foster multi-national collaborations that will further cement Qatar’s position as a regional leader in this exciting and rapidly developing field.
Sessions will include recent breakthroughs in implementing personalized medicine from early life (maternal and neonatal), childhood, and adulthood. There will be a special emphasis on large-scale studies, novel technologies, and ongoing efforts towards the implementation of such programs in the MENA region.
The three day event will feature enhanced networking opportunities with speakers and thematic breakout sessions. Attendees will also have the chance to learn about technologies in the genomic and precision medicine space through sponsor-led, hands-on workshops.
For the first time, this year’s symposium will also feature early bird competitive travel awards for trainees.
This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Category 1) as defined by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners – Accreditation Department and is approved for a maximum of 15.5 hour(s) for the two and a half day conference.
